workout wednesday

So I took a workout winter break, and it stops now! I tend to be very fickle with working out. I'll commit to it for a little while, then I'll stop and that cycle continually repeats itself. But this time I'm really going to try to commit to working out at least three times a week, starting today.

(Although I'll have to put that commitment on pause next week due to surgery. Don't worry nothing serious, I will explain on Tuesday!)


This is my main source of exercise; yoga. I took a screenshot of the app I use on my iPad. The app is called Yoga Studio and I think it cost $2.99 if I'm not mistaken, and well worth it too! If you have this app available to you, and you like yoga, I recommend it.

If you can't purchase this app, it's okay! You can learn different yoga poses by googling them, searching on youtube or there's many different yoga dvds available to purchase. Or if you really want to venture out of the comfort of your home, you can take an actual yoga class. 

I find yoga the best because afterwards you feel very relaxed and good about yourself, at least that's how I feel after doing yoga.

I also like to do a set of 50 crunches afterwards just to give extra attention to my torso area. 


The important thing to do is to always stay hydrated. But if you're like me and need something more than just water to keep you going, I suggest Crystal Light singles. They are amazing!! You just add a package to your water bottle, shake it up and you're good to go.

 Lastly is the attire because if the opportunity presents itself then I can't not take about fashion! Of course while working out, you don't have to be dressed up and fancy. I find just a good pair of leggings and a nice sports bra can be the perfect combo when working out or in my case doing yoga. Afterwards, I like to wear a lightweight throw-over top to keep it casual and comfy.
