On it, thirteen Sloane-inspired tasks that Emily would normally never try. But what if they could bring her best friend back?

Apple picking at night? Okay, easy enough.

Dance until dawn? Sure. Why not?

Kiss a stranger? Um...

Emily now has this unexpected summer, and the help of Frank Porter (totally unexpected), to check things off Sloane's list. Who knows what she’ll find?

Go skinny-dipping? Wait...what?

My Review:

This book took me forever to read, mainly because I'm in addicted to Big Brother mode. So I spend most of my time watching the live feeds than I do reading.

With that said, I loved this book!! It was very fun and interesting. We follow Emily who is a very shy girl that was very happy to live in her best friend, Sloane's shadow. When Sloane disappears without warning, Emily's left with only a list of things to do. I liked reading through Emily's perspective while she goes through this list, and see as she started to open up more and allow herself to not be afraid to say and do what she wants. Emily was a very relatable character and I liked that. I enjoyed the relationships that were formed throughout this book, especially between Frank and Emily.

One of my complaints and why this took a little longer than usual was the super long chapters. I'm a person who likes to take a break at the end of a chapter, and so the long chapters were an issue for me at the start. But it was something that I got used to and as the book progressed, my interest in it outweighed my dislike of long chapters. Another thing was it ended so abruptly! There was more that I wanted to know especially with the side characters, Dawn and Collins. I wanted a little more of the four of them finishing out the summer together.

Overall, really great book! A really good summer read that I would highly recommend. Great story on friendship, and what you would do to see your best friend again.
