My Review:

I absolutely loved this book!! It was so captivating right from the first chapter. It got me excited for this whole series that's for sure. Cinder as a main character was so great, I loved her so much! I'm really loving all the fairytale re-telling stories that are out. This one taking Cinderella, and making her a human cyborg was just perfect!

The main premise of the story is that there's plague on the world, and everyone is trying to find a cure and looking to cyborgs to help find it. When Cinder's stepsister gets sick, her "evil" stepmother volunteers Cinder to be used for a cure, but she's immune and it all goes from there with so many twists and turns throughout the book. It was a complete page turner, and I loved every minute of it.

Prince Kai was a perfect love interest, and I loved that he had his own story going on and how it all connected in the end. I also loved his relationship with Cinder, of course! It was great to see how it developed, and I can't wait to see how it will continue to evolve throughout the series. There is also villainous Queen Levana, who is what is known as a Lunar who's plant, Luna, is the moon. She wants to marry Prince Kai to become royalty on Earth as well.

I'm very excited to read the rest of this series! I love the world that they've created, and I can't wait to see how the story continues, especially with the way they left it at the end.
